Moore Updates on the Mooron
We need an update on Michael Moore, and while I haven’t yet fully researched all of the fallacies of “Fahrenheit 9/11,” I know of at least one:The Illinois newspaper The Pantagraph, is demanding an apology and explanation from America-hater Michael Moore.During the movie “Fahrenheit 9/11,” Moore holds up a December 19, 2001 copy of The Pantagraph with the headline “Latest Florida recount shows Gore won election.”
The problem with this is that this particular headline ran two weeks earlier, in much smaller print, above a letter to the editor – reflecting a private opinion as opposed to the news.
It’s too bad that the liberals can’t let the memory of the Florida recount die. Gore wanted to count every vote (except for the write-in military ballots) so he took the case to the Florida Supreme Court, thus agreeing to be bound by its decision. Since the court made the “wrong” decision, the Liberals feel that they are justified by anything, including the distortion or falsification of facts, to prove that Gore should have been President.
“Fahrenheit 9/11,” by the way, is going to be broadcast by nation-run TV across Cuba, by special order of Fidel Castro. One University of Havana professor calls the film “a work of love for humanity.” If you still have any doubts as to which side Michael Moore is on, this story should settle them.
